DAY 8: JUSTICE AND THE WORLD

AKA How Snk Should Have ended Happily

I’m going to write a plot summary of my Ackerman headcanon story.(I realize it is difficult for me to write the entire story…actually, it is my prediction of the newest arc of the series combining most of my snk theories together.

Detailed Plot Summary

 The Survey Corps loses the battle in the Shiganshina District. The Beast Titan throws barrels containing Bertholdt and chemicals to the Survey Corps. There is a great explosion caused by transformation of the Colossal Titan, which kills the horses, and the chemicals have caused most SC members turning into mindless titans, that others are forced to slay their comrades. Levi becomes exhausted, while many senior SC members are killed. On the other sides, Squad Levi and Squad Hange have defeated the Armored Titan, yet after the explosion of the Thunder Spears, the Armored Titan has lost control, turning into hot lava-like substance (much like the death of the Mountain God in Princess Mononoke) and flooded large piece of land. Unfortunately, the melted titan has destroyed Yeager‘s house and the basement, which means the sacrifice of the SC members is in vain. The squads find a dying Reiner in the ruins, before Reiner has turned into steam and vanished, Mikasa is shocked that Reiner had a bandage on his left wrist. Knowing the basement has been destroyed, Erwin sends a signal flare to gather the remaining SC members while the Beast Titan and other titans are approaching. Erwin surrenders to the Beast Titan and agrees to give Eren to him but in exchange, the Beast Titan must bring the Survey Corps to the Outside so he can keep seeking the truth of the world. The Beast Titan agrees, ordering his titan army to carry the chained SC members heading back to the “Headquarter”.

After they arrives the “Headquarter”, the Beast Titan turns back into human and orders his people to hold SC members captive. After a few hours, Mikasa is brought to meet Mr Key (aka the Beast Titan). Mr Key brings her to the military training ground. There are some half-Ackerman, half-Asian people (aka “the hybrids”) training with other young warriors ( who come from the “Hometown”). Mikasa is terrified as she sees Levi is surrounded by many armed warriors in the training ground. Mikasa rushes to join Levi to fight the warrior trainees with bare hands. Eventually the Ackerman Duo has defeated all of the warriors. Mr Key comes to Levi and Mikasa, comments with amusement that they have inherited the true power of the Ackerman clan. Mr Key wants them to join his army, saying that there is no need for them to fight against each other, because they are the same kind of people. Levi and Mikasa are puzzled, and Mr Key invited them to join the “Gathering Night”. Levi and Mikasa decide to go to the event, hoping they can obtain useful information for their plan of escape.

At night, a crowd of warrior trainees and the hybrids has gathered in the hall to hear Mr Key’s speak. Mr Key tells the history of the Ackermans and Asians to the audience: the two clans had used to be the right-hands of the King of the Walled City, which had high social status and rich, but all things came to an end as the two clans defied the King trying to stop his brainwashing plan. Mr Key continues on how the Ackermans/Asians had suffered, tortured or slaughtered during the persecution, which some females of the clans lost their homes on the land surface and eventually became prostitutes in the Underground, which makes both Levi and Mikasa shocked. Mr Key says that most remaining members have managed to escape to the Outside, gaining power and weapons to seek revenge on those who had wronged them: The Reiss family. Mikasa wants to say Rod Reiss was killed but interrupted by Mr Key, who keeps inciting the audience with his speech, that all of the hybrids and warriors (except Levi and Mikasa) start to yell slogans with anger, saying they will destroy the Walled City and take back everything which is used to belong to them. 

Levi whispers to Mikasa that Mr Key is manipulating the audience and shitstorm is going to happen inside the Walls if the Survey Corps do nothing. 

After a certain days, the Survey Corps has figured a plan to escape meanwhile saving those enslaved “Hometown” people in the “Headquarter”. Knowing the SC members are escaping, Mr Key sends his army of warriors and hybrids to hunt them down and retrieve Eren. The army are revealed to be titan shifters, who transform into titans and attack the SC members. The Ackerman Duo fight fiercely to protect their comrades but Mikasa is badly wounded. As the titan army approaching, Levi takes out the box which is given by Kenny and injects Mikasa with the titan serum, who turns into a beast titan in rage devouring and smashing the titans. Mr Key joins the battle and transforms into his Ape Titan form. Erwin says it is the best chance for them to escape and going to the “Hometown”, order the group to move but Levi wants to help Mikasa the Beast Titan as she is disadvantaged. However, Mikasa roars to him and running away, that she is trying to distract the enemies to buy time for SC to escape. Levi trusts her and returns to the SC’s group. In the heavy rain, Beast Titan Mikasa fights against the Ape Titan and his titan army near a raging river. Before the Ape Titan can grab her, she jumps into the river and disappeared.

Mikasa is carried by the river water and bought to a new, creepy place. Luckily she is found and rescued by some strangers. They bought her to a secret village in the mountains—-which is the dwelling place of the Asian clan. The clan leader comes to meet Mikasa and she is surprised that both of them share the same clan mark on their right wrists, indicating Mikasa is one of the distant relatives of that woman. 

Later, the clan leader reveals to Mikasa that Mr Key and the hybrids who follow him have used to stay in the village. Many years ago, after the two clans have escaped from the Walls, the clan leaders at that time found this secret place and decided to rebuild a village here.They had kept the truth and lost history of the Walls and the leaders decided to ally the two clans together (resulting in the occurrence of the “hybrids”). One day, people from the “Hometown” discovered their village and their leaders had a talk with the leaders of the Ackerman-Asian clan. It was revealed the King of the Walled City is the enemy of the “Hometown” people as he had stolen/robbed the Coordinate and titan serums from them. Some of the villagers (which includes Mr Key) wanted to join the “Hometown”’s side to seek revenge on the King of the Walls, while some decided to stay in the mountain to live peacefully. It resulted in the division of the villagers—half of the villagers had left the clan.

4 years ago (Year 846), when the clan leader went out from the village to check the lastest news, she was horrified that the alliance of the “Headquarter” had destroyed Wall Maria, which the leaders of the “Hometown” forced their young ones to join the harsh training in the “Headquarter” and making them to become titan shifting warriors. She tells Mikasa while the “Headquarter” and “Hometown” people teaches their people to HATE, she teaches her people to FORGIVE. Because violence and wars will only bring more hatred between people, destroying everything. Mikasa tells her about Mr Key’s plan and what has happened to her and the Survey Corps, and the leader decides to bring an army to help to cease the war caused by the “Headquarter”.

After leaving the village, Mikasa is finally reunited with Levi together with other SC members. Levi says the rebels of the “Hometown” have joined them, determined to stop the war going to happen inside the Walls.

The Alliance blocked the way of Mr Key’s army to enter the Walled City. There is a fierce battle and eventually Mr Key is engulfed by his own titan power and dies. Knowing the possible aftermath of attacking people inside the Walls, the remaining warriors+hybrids of Mr Key’s side surrenders, agrees to join the Alliance and go back to the Capitol.

In the end, with the help of the Survey Corps and Queen Historia, peace among people of different sides have been restored, which they have figured out a way to return the titan serums/Coordinate to the “Hometown” people, and Queen Historia announces the “lost history of the Walls” and “the history of persecution of the Ackermans and Asians by the former Kings” to the citizens, saying that nobody should forget or to be keep away from the dark history, as people should learn from their mistakes from the past and never repeat them.

The Ackermans+Asians and many “Hometown” people have moved in and live together with the citizens, while the interactions between the Walled-City, “Hometown” and other foreign countries have been restored. Mindless titans and titans in the Walls are turned back to humans and in the end Eren, Armin and their friends have made it to see the ocean.

For Levi and Mikasa, the best thing is justice has been done—they have new clan members to care about, the Ackermans and Asians no longer live in fear and blood—–the peace has been restored finally.
