Levi and Mikasa being the only ones awake while Levi is denying his need for sleep - as usual - until he falls asleep somewhere uncomfortable. Mikasa being the caring mother she is, she decides to pick him up and try to carry him to bed or at least to somewhere softer and more suitable for sleeping. Levi wakes up when they’re about halfway there and he just falls out of her arms in panic, probably kneeing Mikasa in the face in the process.

They’re staring at each other and Mikasa has to hide her embarrassment because he wasn’t supposed to wake up, while trying to come up with a decent excuse. (Which, let’s be honest, isn’t one of her strong points.)

“You were sleepwalking.”

“I don’t sleepwalk, Mikasa.”

“…”

“What were you trying to do? …Carry me to bed?”

“You’re imagining things. Goodnight, captain.”

Levi is just left there as she walks off before he can get another word in, confused and suddenly realizing he’s still on the floor.
